In 25-30 years Crimea at any development of situation will become Muslim territory. Such an opinion expressed director of Russian and Asian programs of the Institute of Global Safety (Washington) Nikolay Zlobin.

"To be fair, Crimea will be lost by any country which will control it in the near future, pursuing its policy in the interest of Muslims. For 25-30 years Crimea at any development of situation will be a Muslim territory", - Zlobin said.

He noted, that if Crimea will be in subordination of Russia, Russia will lose it, and if will be in the structure of Ukraine, it will lose it too.

Besides, as it informs UNIAN, Zlobin excluded an opportunity of the power script in Crimea, similar to South-Osetian.

At the same time, the expert considers that disintegration of the Soviet Union did not come to an end. "Today nobody can guarantee that events on Caucasus were the last change of borders on the post-Soviet space. It is the factor of instability, and it is necessary to get ready for this", he added.

As he said, the world lived for a long time in rather stable conditions of a "cold war"; than "everything fell down" and the borders started to move. "We also move to the creation of new economic geography, and the new centers will be submitted by not so big states and are not connected with those countries which have the greatest military force. The world becomes much more dangerous, than it was before disintegration of the USSR", he states.

Zlobin considers that "young" countries by definition cannot have national elites which are capable to formulate national interests. "These are casual young elites of the transitive order. These elites became elites not due to political selection and in many respects casually. Therefore they cannot realize national interests of the countries. In the post-Soviet countries it is possible to become a president on protection or acquaintance. The main thing is to appear in a good place and in a good time", he said.
