The halalgoogling.com search engine works quite similar to popular engine google.com, but has aditional filtering system allowing to cut the search results which don’t meet the Islamic high moral standards. It’s beta-version was launched recently.

As the developers state in their blog, the system will authomatically filter porography, erotic, pictures of naked people, and also materials connected with homosexual propaganda, gambling, premarital relationships, adultery and everything considered unacceptable by the Islamic teaching.

Every user can personify the filtering process using four categories of filtering: full filtration, links filtration (allows to block certain pages without cutting access to whole resource of blog), ban-lists for URLs and keywords.

WeThe developers apologize for any unintentional mistake that they might have made or could make in the future. They ask the users to help them develop the search engine by using halalgoogling.com and reporting Haram content so they can exclude it immediately from the search results.

Halalgoogling.com is designed to respect the Muslim Culture and meet the needs of Muslims all over the world”, the developers say.
