“Tourism In Islamic World” seminar organized in the framework of the resolution taken at the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the 35th Islamic Conference Organization Countries started today, QHA reffering to Türk Ajansi Kıbrıs informed.
The conference organized with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of TRNC and Islamic Conference Organization is taking place at Ottoman Savoy Hotel in Kyrenia.
Representatives from 19 ICO member countries are attending to the conference.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of TRNC Turgay Avci, Turkey’s Ambassador to Nicosia Sakir Fakili, Deputy General Secretary of ICO Tori Limangana, General Director of Islamic Trade Improvement Centre Dr. Allal Rachdi and experts on tourism attended to the opening of the conference.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Turgay Avci delivered the opening speech of the seminar after the Koran was read.
Stressing that they could overcame all kind of difficulties with the support of Islamic world, Avci underlined TRNC was an authentic holiday and investment centre with its history, culture, wild life, untouched nature and conference centers.
Stating that the day Turkish Cypriots would embrace with the rest of the world was near Avci, emphasized the importance of the initiatives taken together with the Islamic Countries.
